Hi all, thank you.

I wasn't trying to imply you fetchies were ignorant or anything of course, just so many threads are very established. My bad :D

I look forward to getting to know everyone better and maybe meeting up with some in the future :)

Jayfire, I only joined last Yr and found the easiest way to integrate was to join in one of the target distance threads (which don't actually expect you to commit to that distance. I know I know, it's a Fetch thing 😄). The 700 thread, for example, is very friendly and active and easy to join.

Back to the thread... I'm sort of shy too. I wear my Fetch shirt for general running, but haven't for races. I'm slow and almost feel too slow to associate myself at races with a running site. Also I worry I would end up being a bit socially inept if confronted unexpectedly by a fellow Fetchie!

Turtlemama, that makes me sad to read that. Please don't think that you have to achieve any kind of pace to be classed as a runner or be a member of a running site. That's so not the case, certainly with Fetcheveryone, and Mr Fetch would say that too, I'm sure of it.
And if I saw you at a race or event I would love to have a chat x
