Running on the Spot
Has anyone else been surprised how shy fetches are? They seem to stay under cover at races, not displaying their fetchieness. At a recent high profile marathon, with 10 fetchies declared to be running, only one was out and proud. Supporting at the race, I saw only one runner sporting official fetchie merchandise. Nobody to shout "come on fetch" at! I hope they all did well and had a great time, but would be good to see more solidarity, especially in far flung corners.

Merry Christmas & Happy New G(rrr)
Ha ha! Metro Nome and I spotted each other at parkrun a couple weeks ago (I've known her on FE for ages, formerly Crooked Smile) but even though I know her well, it was the Fetch buff that I spotted first!

Compulsory Fetch tattoos? Branding (as in hot iron!) or chip inserted so we can find 'em all?! :-) G

I'd be guilty of that. I'm a 100 parkrun t-shirt wearer at parkruns, and then a club vest wearer (mostly) at races. I do often notice though lots and lots of participants listed on races on the fetch race calendar, but few of them participate even on here in the forums or elsewhere. They just love the graphs / logging functionality clearly!!

Tricky one. Cold weather, I'll usually have a Fetch buff even for things like parkrun where I generally don't wear a Fetch shirt. Paid races I do usually have a shirt, but then I'm not affiliated to anything else.

If I've entered a race as affiliated then it is my club vest. However, if its raining, I will wear my Fetch cap. Home parkruns I do wear my milestone Ts, but if touristing I will wear a Fetch top.

I'm the same as westmoors, I wear my club vest because I have entered under my club's name.

I try to always wear my red fetch buff at least! If I don't notice another Fetchie please speak to me anyway as I like a chat :-). I just don't do as many races as I used to.

I'm not shy. I always fetch up for a race and parkrun tourism (unless I'm with my grandson then we wear our parkrun ts)
