Our bottle rocket exploded on its launch pad, causing everyone with visible range to turn and look at us. I was about a metre away, doing the pumping, and I've never heard a louder bang.

I started off by Shinkansening back into Tokyo, getting the monorail across the bay for a last meal, then flying home over Siberia before narrowly missing a drone on approach to Heathrow. Then I got home and had a cup of tea.

How much pressure did you get into it to result in that carnage?
Brighton marathon for me. A perfectly paced 4:10 so I'm intending to be a smug git for at least a week.

It was up over 100PSI. The bottle bulged in a very scary way, before finally giving in. Lessons learned.

Saturday was a pottering-doing-jobs day to free me up for my LSR on Sunday (17.5 miles) and then Sunday roast. Managed to scare a horse on my LSR yesterday (unintentionally).

Saturday my daughter went on her first rugby tour. Assume it was good, what goes on tour, stays on tour and all that. Went shopping for a new suit, got a beauty, in fact, it was a suit so fine, it made Sinatra look like a hobo
