Hya M1nty, welcome back from your hols! We will be up for some training runs with you for sure, although will have to confirm dates nearer the time after speaking to babysitters as usual...
shanksi is doing the OMM the last weekend of October so don't know if we'd do a big run the weekend before and also it may be the next Aberdeen Fetch Mile on the 22nd Oct. Are you definitely up that weekend? November may be better for us.

"not so strong could do less" - I'd definitely be one of those, don't think I could do more than half the route in twice as long, but I'll watch this thread.

More often than not Im one of those as well Spiced. Fear not, the great thing about these winter runs with Fetch types is the complete lack of elitism; I've never been made to feel the slightest bit inadequate even though I've been totally lacking in stamina and strength and crawling around at the back quite a few times. And it works because you come back for more and gradually start to improve a little
Everyone toddles around the course, sometimes in sub-groups - with the yound bucks waiting for the others to catch up every few miles. You could get a frend to drive up with you, and meet you at Rowardennan? That's 15 miles - 22 back to Balmaha is the full distance planned.
I could leave out the Conic hill part to reduce the length - but I'm not going to It's such an amazing experience to reach the top, seeing the Loch route stretching out ahead and then running down the hill to Balmaha. It leaves you with a buzz for days.
