Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Ouch Nici :( Not a medic and would be so, so tempted to run if it were me but on balance I think I'd have at least some of the four weeks off that your doc told you. The races will come round again next year but if your fractures heal wonky or give you chronic pain you'll always regret it.

Don't do it. Get the face fit, have a rest then consider options.

There are lots of marathons to run.

I think I knew what you were all going to say but I just needed to hear it. I won't be running any races for the rest of the year :(

Please note I wasn't questioning my doctors expertise at all.

Stitches come out tomorrow which should be fun considering my forehead hurts if my hair even touches it. I normally have a high tolerance for pain so am finding this all a bit frustrating.

However, all my moaning and complaining gets put into perspective when this morning there was the 4th bike fatality this week in London.

Got something to say?
