I'm looking to possibly replace my old 305 and thought the 310 would be idea as I can also do OW swimbling in it.
Some reviews are saying it's no good for this so I thought I woud ask those trusted folks at Fetch!!
What's the Fetch opinion on the 310?

I've swam wearing it, remembering it's not a new model watch - so it's not the most accurate model now. Unless you want to shell out for the 910, it's always worked fine for me.

so it does track distance then? Someone said it only does time so just wear a watch! The 910 is a lot more isn't it!

I believe it only tracks distance if kept out of the water, such as in a swimming hat.

I just had a look at the website you told me about, Pix. The 910 is only about £20 more isn't it?

Hi EvilPixie,

Have a read through this review by DC Rainmaker:

dcrainmaker.com

I've worn mine under my swim hat and it behaved just fine, the distance readout was good enough for me. I do know a guy who wore his on his wrist and had problems during T1 lol. Anyway (ahem), I'm happy with the 310's swimming capability and its readouts, if I was more of a competitive swimmer then I would look at the 910.

Not sure why it woldn't work in the water though, I still get a good signal inside buildings.

My pleasure EvilPixie, the guy does quite a few reviews and I remember reading that before I bought my 310 from e-bay and liking what he had written. Good luck if you get one, I love mine, it does everything I want - and more - the battery life is as good as dammit 20 hours on mine. The choice of information on the watch screen is boggling if you allow it all (I have four screens on mine - HR, pace, time elapsed and distance travelled). It automatically pairs with my cadence and speed sensors on my road bike too, then displays that info on My Garmin! I would only change it if I regulary ran more than the 20 hour battery life.
