Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

I was considering buying the 310XT, but was having difficulty justifying the cost. Amazon were selling the 110 with HRM last week for £148 so I decided to go with that. I'm really pleased with it so far as it's simple to use and does the basic speed/distance/heart rate that I was looking for without the more complicated training functionality that would probably end up driving me mad!!

If expense wasn't an issue I would have upgraded to the 310XT from my 205 purely so I could use it for OW swimming. Expense *was* an issue though so I upgraded to the 305 as it was a bargain on Amazon a couple of weeks ago, coming in under £100. I'll just continue estimating my swim distances ;)

The 305 is a sound investment.

I'm absolutely hearting my 305. Ok, so I've wanted to fling the HR strap in the bin on more than one occasion but I'm sticking with it - more stats to geek over when I download my training ;)

Seriously, it's a good piece of kit :)

Agree I love my 305, although I only make occasional use of the HR strap. There's something in my make up that never quite believes watches can go under water and survive LOL.

I've been looking today sLickster and have come to the conclusion that, no, it can't. I have noticed that many retailers quote different prices for with and without the HRM, so beware if you want it. Note that the ebay one has no HRM.

Hmm - I have decided to buy a GPS watch and am looking at the 110. I have tiny weeny wrists for a man (mens watches look really silly on me!) and so don't fancy trying the big chunky models like the 205 or 305. So that's my current thinking, the only debate for me is whether to save up and buy the 405 for its extra features, but OTOH I am not sure if that's just wanting extra toys to play with! :)
