I was recently sent, unsolicited, some samples of the For Goodness Shake race fuels (one gel, and one concentrated powder you add to water). Has anyone had any experience of them, in which case are they any good, or should I just let the dog take his chances with them?

Cheers...

I tried the energy gel yesterday, its a bit more liquidy than Im used to and one squirt caught me on the clacker so I was coughing for a while, but it tasted nice, quite sweet, but better than several I have tried. Not used the drink mix yet, will give it a go on Sundays LSR

I prefer the powdered versions PH - you can choose when you make them up, I recently threw out a couple of ready-made ones (Vanilla) which, on opening, were dark brown....!

Did you personally buttonhole Mike Gratton and get your SDM shirt? Did he promise it? Did he? What a shower!

Hmmm. I filled my water bottle with the dilutable race fuel, and it seemed to work on my 15 miles today. Didn't taste foul, didn't throw up either. Might buy some!
