Can we decide if its a visit or an attach on a castle?

Don't think so Jen. Think its an attack if you have dynamite and a visit if you dont. Though I think if you have some dynamite but not enough to take ownership your visit costs less and you damage the castle. |

I have a question: This morning I started a dog walk from a different location in my grid but it’s not showing as explored. What did I do wrong? If you select keep as is does that assume you are starting from a defined position instead of the actual location? I think I incorrectly thought that gps would recognise that I started north of my last starting location and would map the walk accordingly.

Have you done another activity from your 'normal' home point.? The cleared grid is relative to the start of each activity, so if you go 3 squares north, and 3 east (say) that would clear. If you then went to Antarctica the same squares would be already cleared from your new start point

I was confused in a similar way, but there was Fetchplanation. Wherever you are, that's the middle of your grid. The moving of your start point is a convenience only: to show where objects will be, relative to your start point.

I know what I did wrong: ‘Keep as is’ is choosing between using your current location and using a self-defined starting location. I was thinking it was a three way choice and it’d fix my starting location in the place it was for my previous activity. Instead of which I just started in the centre of my grid again.

All activities start from the centre of the grid.

Yesterday I walked one way from home (where I start most activity) Saved and then ran back. The blob in the middle is the runs/walk loops from home. The long bits - left is walk out and right is run back. Its helped me get my head round it |

Yes, I know Jamie, in which case the Leave as is button is redundant.

@Sushi I had similar with a bike ride which made it make sense. Not a lot of my routes seem to head far north from my start point...
