I've finished 7th, one better than last year and a total failure to act on my conviction that being about 50th would be best for walking-life balance. Still, much enjoyment was had.

I'll get my bike out now for local trips.

I'm on a big-ass round about, just waiting for it to clear from the right.

I'm 10 miles off the next bridge which will be the Tyne Bridge. Which is appropriate as we've just driven over the Tyne on the way home from Northumberland, but on the A1.
