Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Autumnleaves not feeble at all, it is good going. No need to compare yourself with others, just do what you can and enjoy yourself. :-)

:) I am very much a beginner at this - and the challenge is definitely motivating me to ride a bit more regularly! So does the thought of the Manchester to Blackpool ride mind you :)

Slowly closing on the first checkpoint!! I know it's feeble in comparison with lots on here, but I've already done more cycling this year than ever before!

Not sure what that says about me, still leaning on the Land’s End signpost! 😂

Well done on your 2022 distance record! I suspect there may be more to come?

Well done to the 3 finishers.

I find myself at the bottom of Wrynose Pass in Little Langdale. Prompted by a couple of notes I’ve stopped to take in the views and glad I did. IRL it’s always been dark when I’ve been running here on the Lakeland so it’s been nice to see what I’ve missed out on.

Maccathecracker Wrynose Pass is nice as our 2 resident local Fetchies know very well ;-) . You'll certainly be able to enjoy the views on the way up because you'll be going so slowly you'll have plenty of time to look around :-p . Similarly when you get to Hardnott Pass a few miles later. :-)

Thanks ♪♫ Synge ♪♫ and everyone else. The fine weather and lack of strong winds in the last 6 weeks certainly helped. I hope that everyone else has similarly good conditions for the rest of your rides.
