Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

less likely to get lost on a track than on a measured mile somewhere although being free is appealing. IF it was the summer we could you the track at my school for free but it is now marked out as a rugby pitch

Track would be much better - if it is an officially measured mile course on road then it would be 1.609 metres longer then a mile, as they are required to wheel measure 1001m per km!!! also be nicer for us to all see each other...

Count me in - be good preparation for Derby midweek mile on the Wednesday!!!!

if you run it fast enough you get lactic burn in your windpipe and it makes you feel really sick :)

anyone should be able to run it fast enough - it's all relative to your anaerobic threshold - it will just happen at different paces for different people :)
