Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

LOL at Dio!

I’ve made myself wear jeans regularly because if I do and they feel tight, it reminds me to eat less 🤦🏻‍♀️

I live in leggings mostly running leggings. But I have found this past year has been good for my weight and I’ve lost 2st since November’19. I normally would have been buying a new set of clothes but I had to pull out those closet he’s that got too small & these now fit it’s fabulous!! My worry now is keeping it off so I will have to keep wearing them as it’s a great way to check.

I've started wearing jeans to work, as a passive-aggressive protest at having to be there. No one cares.

Haha I'd forgotten that, Seren. We were in fact in the same field. You can see how it's confusing. :-)

Hah!

I just managed to squeeze myself back into my old jeans on Wednesday. I cut the split legs off to make shorts. I had to buy a new pair of jeans last year because... Well, comfort eating and no cycling meant I put on a stone! When my button popped off my large work trousers beginning of the year, I have been trying to drop weight.
Had to add exercise, hence back on Fetch. It is slow progress!
But, did I mention: Newt shorts ;)

About This Thread

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
