WA repurposing/salvaging an abandoned room is also highly newty and hopefully will prove to be a lasting benefit. Albeit maybe credit should also go to jennywren but I've not searched back in the thread. But on a site that is primarily built around running, GM achieving more miles in a single month than ever before has to take today's NotD award! Congratulations GM! And thanks everyone for providing such optimistic and encouraging newts.

The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.
