Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

We had pizza from the local Italian restaurant tonight and I had a folded pizza (Calzone? I think) which I have never had before although on balance I think I prefer a pizza flat...

Calzone is just weird, I don’t see the point of it!

I'm pleased to have tried it and the contents tasted nice but I would have liked to have seen them! Unfolding it so I could see what I was eating didn't really seem the right thing to do. Won't be in a hurry to have it again although it was quite tasty and filling. I have a friend who only ever has Calzone when he has a pizza, but that wouldn't be for me

Today I read the fashion column in The Guardian for the first tine since we stopped getting the paper copy around five years ago. I used to read it every week.

I have been thinking, ever since I realised I really cannot run with my dodgy knee that it would be good to have a separate category for walking. We have run/bike/swim/cross training. It would be good to have walking. I have noticed lots of Fetchies log walking.

About This Thread

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
