Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

My newt for today is taking the dog for a walk whilst I rode my bike. Didnt hurt the toe as much as walking does. He seemed to enjoy it. Not sure my toe did when I hit it with the pedal!

Two newt badges for me today. 150 squares in WSW and 30 miles of walking (all logged purely for WSW!)

I was wearing just a T-shirt (well other clothes too but not a something long-sleeved over the T shirt is what I mean) earlier today - the first time it's been warm enough to do that since last summer/autumn. It didn't last very long though and I now have a fleece and a bodywarmer over said T-shirt

I was hoping for a really exciting newt but it's not to be.

The first part was successfully renewing my 2nd claim Masters club membership. That was fine but then I hoped - as per advertised in the club magazine - to be able to ENTER A TRACK AND FIELD COMPETITION at Lee Valley on April 18th. Was hoping to long jump, run 100m, and possibly throw things. But boo hoo hoo - no sooner had they booked the venue than it had to be cancelled due to lack of officials.

So I'm newtless (ish)

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
