Right, I registered for this a year ago and have STILL never been. Seen the pics of the course they posted on f'ook thiss week. Very nice! So...NEXT saturday I shall make my debut. Won't be going all out as I'm dead after today but if anyone fancies a pacer (19-25 mins) I'll be very happy to oblige. ![]() |

Classic - I've been to 45 Conkers events in the last year and I will have missed you guys as I was away at VLM! And then next week I'm working in Manchester so won't be around to catch Salty Dog! We've only introduced 'official' pacers at the recent events. Well, only one pacer, me, and I've been doing the 25 minute one since VLM: facebook.com I've got another label for 22.30, which is another pace that there seems to be a few at, which would help them.

Just get in touch with Andrew at conkersdirector@parkrun.com It may be that you could do unofficial pacing duties. We've just started a handicap league and so people are gunning for certain times. I expect someone would be happy to have you pace them at anywhere between 20-30 mins!

Yep, sounds like a plan. Makes sense to have an 'audition' for pacing to make sure i actually can! Ok, i'll send a message and put myself forward for that then. ![]() |
