Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I may be upto around 10 miles in my training but I still need to watch a few video/promo clips just to keep my focus up.

I don't know about that coffee YP. My biggest marathon mistake was following a suggestion to have a shot off coffee before the race. 2010 was a very warm day and I quickly got dehydrated - never again!

But imagine getting cappuccino froth up your nose at 20 miles!

Of course, a Dyson is always a safe option.

Coffee is good, though I may take a small fridge so that I can have an iced one.

You know what? I always fancy something hot and salty when I'm in Brighton.

Perhaps a deep-fat fryer might be called for.

As long as it's on wheels and has a safety lid DeeGee.

I'm wondering out taking out the opposition with a cloud of candy floss from my candy floss drum...

20 miles is kind of getting into the latte drinking part of Brighton anyway, so no need.

I'm standing by my ironing board, you know :)

I can picture you using it as a "Back To The Future"-style hoverboard down Brighton promenade.

Is that how you won the race in 2011? ;-)

A run along the prom isn't so bad. Anything to get over miles 14-18 and 20-23 which aren't exactly the most scenic on the course.

Pre-Race for the regulations Fetch Photo, please assemble outside the massive white tent in the middle of Preston Park.

As you look up the park (it's a slope) we shall be congregating on the right hand side of said massive white tent... the information and lost sprogs tent, it is close to the Pavillion...very close.

Group Photo 08:15?

Post race, we are heading to the Hop Pole pub.

Have a cracking race, see you all on Sunday.
