Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

After coming home from Brighton on Monday. Noticed that the road work on A23 after the M23 ends will go on until 2014 :( Traveling down on the day may be delayed.

Yes, I saw that as well Tracey. I suppose travelling down the day before to collect your race pack does have some benefit after all.

Hows everyones training going? Im not exactly panicking yet, but I signed up for this in May and ran really well all through the summer (even on holiday in France!) got up to 11.5 miles. then I got injured at the end Of August and I'm only just back up to 3 miles again :-( boo hiss. Now I'm terrified that I'll end up getting injured again. (Can you tell its my first marathon...?!).

This year I am going to take an ice-cream maker. I think the toasties weighed me down a bit.

Ooh, I like your thinking. Hmm. I might take a soda stream then.

Pre-Race for the regulations Fetch Photo, please assemble outside the massive white tent in the middle of Preston Park.

As you look up the park (it's a slope) we shall be congregating on the right hand side of said massive white tent... the information and lost sprogs tent, it is close to the Pavillion...very close.

Group Photo 08:15?

Post race, we are heading to the Hop Pole pub.

Have a cracking race, see you all on Sunday.
