Collecting numbers is the norm though for big city marathons, surely? It was the same last year too so no surprise.

We found you can go up the steps once you've left the far end of the finish area, but not the ones inside the finish area. This was the first year I've done this. I used the Seaside and West Street underpasses before which are too crowded. I think that I prefer to keep moving slowly to shuffling through a tunnel.

PB for me just, felt ok for the first 13, the last 6 was hard, thanks for the jelly babies at Fetchpoint, and thanks to all the fetchies who kept me going , especially at the power station which I still hate. Legs are not happy this morning, I think I may have got my first sun tan of the year as well

Pre-Race for the regulations Fetch Photo, please assemble outside the massive white tent in the middle of Preston Park.

As you look up the park (it's a slope) we shall be congregating on the right hand side of said massive white tent... the information and lost sprogs tent, it is close to the Pavillion...very close.

Post race, we are heading to the Hop Pole pub.
