Clare they are open now, £40 before Tuesday then £60 afterwards so get in now.

It was much tougher than I thought, well till 21 miles it felt ok, but lots of hills and wind. But the last 5 miles from the turn around was very tough, I went from running 6:48 - 7:02/7:08, just running on my own and in that headwind was tough. I didn't start my watch till 50 secs after, my homemade pace band was illegible due to sweat and I miscalculated my time. I caught up to Jonny around 24 miles and I pushed on, but man that final section is brutal, just goes on forever! Jonny pulled level and urged us both on, I was happy to keep at my pace thinking I had a minute before 3 hours, until we turned the last corner, with the chap on the mike saying it was 2:59:20 and the finish seemed 200m away! It was then a full on sprint with 4 of us and we just made it, my chip time being 2:59:56, pretty close hey? Even though I missed 50 seconds, my garmin measured 26.31 miles, I must be shit at running the right line!Happy tho :)

Pre-Race for the regulations Fetch Photo, please assemble outside the massive white tent in the middle of Preston Park.

As you look up the park (it's a slope) we shall be congregating on the right hand side of said massive white tent... the information and lost sprogs tent, it is close to the Pavillion...very close.

Post race, we are heading to the Hop Pole pub.
