and thanks for your donation today!:) I shall return to Berlin, believe me...:) I'll make a point of not going to London for work for the month preceding the marathon! Some horrible person on the train coughing their lungs out shared their germs with me.

Good for you Garfield. A worthy cause. The Berlin Marathon fellows aren't too bad with their 'golden bond' places. I believe they charge UK charities just £280 per place. But don't quote me. I've morphed into a totally different runner. Everything has just clicked back into place. So good, in fact, that I've entered the Milton Keynes Winter Half, with a view to smashing to bits the 2-hour barrier. |

Sound good Tim! In the next year or so, I'll be working to get my overall fitness back and start making inroads on my half PB - back in 2013, I finally barely scraped sub 2:10 - by a second!

Have fun on the 2018 thread. I'm going to really try get my fitness up, diet sorted and concentrate more on racing. I'll hopefully see you all on the Berlin 2019 thread.
