FR50 stick should be compatible (they all use the same tech, some of the newer ones support more and faster channels, but that's more recent than the 310xt coming out).

If you decide to Spend Money, buy a Suunto Movestick Mini instead

as they are conveniently tiny enough that mine just stays plugged into my laptop all the time. It works perfectly with a 310xt.
