Any other board games fans out there on Fetch? Any recommendations for some great games? We're currently enjoying Dominion with all of its various expansions.

Cue wavy lines for a bit of flashback nostalgia...
When I was a lad (in the dim and distant past) my Uncle worked for John Waddingtons in Leeds. At the time I thought that was amazingly cool.
We did get some free samples off him, but they'd be parts of games or a game without a set of rules, or a board from one game with the pieces from another. I ended up having to invent my own rules for most of em.

Footpad - most of our cupboard is also stacked with various German/European games - the sorts of things that appear on the Spiel des Jahres list. Carcassone, Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride...

Just had a look online at Modigliani as never heard of it before. Tend to go for games that work well with only 2 or 3 players though. I think the best 2 player game we have is Settlers of Catan card game - which can only be played with 2 - the trouble with that one is that I almost always lose!

I love the old fashioned ones like Monopoly, careers, campaign, risk, totopoly,tri-tactics and...what was that one based on the Wild West?

Settlers tournament in Oxford. I think I had to play something like 6 games during it and placed top of something like 30 - 40 players. Beware when playing Settlers with me. I am a demon at the game.
I used to place a lot of Diplomacy tournaments and go on long weekends to games conventions. Seems so long ago now though. Would love to get back to ManorCon some point. Was part of the winning Team Diplomacy team for two years running.
