But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. I live on a farm Baroness, but our road is theoretically called Cuddyhouse Road.

And in the city that I am in now, the signs are mostly up on buildings 20ft up, so hard to get a selfie with. Ooh, street I work on is a letter not yet taken. :-) G

A variation on the game could be to find the alphabet as second letter, then third, etc. Handy for me as worda cannot start with ð in icelandic 😉.
It would, I suppose be easier to cheat by storing selfies in advance but you'd have to be a bit sad. It's just a game (apart from this first one for the calendar draw tickets).

Off home to load my Þ as I cannot do it from my phone.

Daisy - it means you're all done for this challenge (apart from to encourage others). If we play this game longer term post Christmas, I reckon it'll have different rules to allow more participation by each person.

Upload a selfie to the gallery featuring you in front of a street sign (e.g. Queen Street), any time before December 24th.

The first person to upload each letter of the alphabet (Queen Street = Q) will get ten extra tickets in the hat. If you duplicate someone else's letter, you don't get any extra tickets.

If we collect all letters* before December 24th, we start again. So another Queen Street uploaded AFTER the first completed alphabet will also earn ten tickets for whoever uploads it. We'll go round as many times as necessary!

*X is excluded. Non-English letters are entirely valid, but it's not necessary to collect all the non-English letters, otherwise we'd be here for ever.
