I have a car, i'll go find somewhere to eat
I already have a 3 season sleeping bag, mat and stove too somewhere courtesy of my brother and thus the RAF/MOD suppliers. Somehow i think cooking on a campsite isn't gonna keep me feed that well. Besides there is bound to be a town with a fish and chip shop nearby. A KFC would be ideal for the odd night

hello BW, you in for 6in6 as well?
I think those doing the long long ones get some sleeping accomadation provided, I assume some camping in a marquet or something , but us fun runners dont, I think the Q was asked on RW about camping at the race course and that is not poss

hmm, just thinking about this at the moment
My thoughts have gone as far as working out that longacres camping is very close (around a mile away) and costs £6 a night for a one man tent and bike

but also seems to have "self catering rooms" for families, which I guess may be static caravans - sounds like a possible option.

yes, I was thinking about that as well but thought a 'holiday cottage' might be a bit nicer!

I wish we had a bigger garden, I could offer camping only 10 minutes walk from the event
Of note, Lingfield has three pubs, two Indian restaurants, a Thai restauarant, Chinese takeaway, Chippy, two small supermarkets, bakery and a couple of tea-shops. There is a reasonable choice as there is a fair passing traffic from the racecourse - from the horse racing as opposed to ultrarunners! All of these are above 10 minutes walk from the racecourse.
Just need to juggle family holidays a bit now so I can enter!

Sorry they are about 10 minutes walk, not 'above' ten minutes as noted above. Although that may be the case after a few days running

I agree with Blue Wombat.
Yeah i did ask about caming on site there but Hellen's right, not allowed:(
If I had a car, I would sleep in it on the car park:(
Kstuart I have 2 tents can give you one. (It's huge though 2x2meters)
Is it anywhere possible to rent 1 room and everybody who wanted we'd make "camping without tents in a room" No flood and tent collapsing at you in the middle of the night guarateed;)
