Well, since break even is 83.333333 miles per month and so far I've "only" run 82 miles, I'll obsess about it until I have 84 miles logged

You're so right Jenny! This is a 1,000 mile for the year target..I think! I'm a little in front but aim for the 1,000 sometime in November because I don't like winter running if temperatures dip too much.

Jenny, some of us know we are likely to hit the target early, but we like it here because the people are nice and we feel that they have become friends so we don't want to leave and go to a scary new place.

I like it here too, although it's a few years since I hit 1000 miles, because of injury. At the moment I'm on course for about 1000, but life, 'lurgies' & injuries can also have their say in this.

I last hit 1000 miles in 2016, but return here every year as the support from everyone is so good š

This will be my 4th year on this thread. The first two years, I just scraped over the line, but last year, managed it quite comfortably. I will be doing less miles this year, as I'm working on my speed, hoping to get somewhere near to my pre injury pace.
Today was a rest day.
