Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Did I get a PB..... clock was 25.55 which is 1 sec inside my time..... waiting for the official time :-)

Good to meet you all again and great to do the first 1K with you Lalli.

**STOP PRESS** PB by 2 secs! Phew !!! **STOP PRESS**
I did get to race - they had enough helpers :-)
Not a PB but not that far off - and definitely happy with GNR only a week behind me....
Didn't know what to expect as I haven't run a 5k since May. The plan was to go out very hard for the first mile, carry it through into the second and hold on for the last 1.1 mile.

It started off alright with my splits being 7:40 and 7:59 for the first two miles but faded badly near the end.

All in all I was pretty pleased as I've managed to pile on 20lbs since I set my PB, and I wasn't too far off that pace. Was also very impressed by the organisation. Free entry and a t-shirt and drink for all finishers - i've paid money to get a lot less before now!
Didn't go for a PB as I had a long run next day. Having said that, didn't do a bad time for me, given I've done virtually no speed work over the past couple of months!
Can't even remember what race pace feels like so not much chance of a PB.
If there's any betting on cake eating though...
UPDATE - pleased with that. Kept to nice steady pace all way round and just picked way through crowds. Congested at start but you expect that with big races lol. Awesome turnout for bday :-)
Racing tomorow so just a nice pace. First time at BPTT, great crowd, will def go again.

What a brilliant morning......ok so my race was rubbish but its was not about that today. Great to see all the Fetchies around and sorry I missed you Caterpiller.

Thanks for sticking with me max you are a great friend to have :-)
Not great. I have a cross country race this afternoon so I didn't want to do this too fast, but I can tell I'm not in the best shape at the moment.
Beautiful day! Almost couldn't park in time for the start.Great to see so many Fetchies. Sorry I couldn't hang around - as usual. Good luck with the 10k tomorrow BB, and I hope you blast that 3h marathon in Chicago.
