MB99 Can't even remember what race pace feels like so not much chance of a PB.
If there's any betting on cake eating though...
UPDATE - pleased with that. Kept to nice steady pace all way round and just picked way through crowds. Congested at start but you expect that with big races lol. Awesome turnout for bday :-) Unaffiliated 17:22 18:52 19:29 66.16

Lalli Didn't go for a PB as I had a long run next day. Having said that, didn't do a bad time for me, given I've done virtually no speed work over the past couple of months! Eastbourne Rovers AC 25:50 26:56 28:02 54.66
zuzi Edinburgh Road Club 24:31 24:31 24:31 60.10
Cavey Didn't know what to expect as I haven't run a 5k since May. The plan was to go out very hard for the first mile, carry it through into the second and hold on for the last 1.1 mile.

It started off alright with my splits being 7:40 and 7:59 for the first two miles but faded badly near the end.

All in all I was pretty pleased as I've managed to pile on 20lbs since I set my PB, and I wasn't too far off that pace. Was also very impressed by the organisation. Free entry and a t-shirt and drink for all finishers - i've paid money to get a lot less before now! Handsworth Roadhogs RC 21:31 23:54 25:00 25:14 50.92
