Ouch, pretty hard and went out faster than I meant to. Still, managed to mostly maintain pace and the brass band playing Mam Mia near the half way stage was great. Two laps is a bit strange, but it was oddly comforting knowing what was to come. Wouldn't like them all like that though.
First female team!!!! PB by a couple of secs too. Course was alot better than last year but still canny hilly!! Great support from the rest of CH too!
Had been training hard for this. Great day, great course and a really impressive time in my second half marathon.
PB by 4 minutes!! Thanks to clubmate Bill who chummed me round. He told me, you set the pace for teh first 10 miles, I'll keep you going for the next 3. And he did, even when I wanted to stop and die quietly!
Found the course not that good.It being 2 laps & hilly wasnt what i was expecting as it was stated as a flat course.
Got 35 points towards the Grand Prix.

2nd half marathon and found quite tough - quite hilly in places and legs still a bit heavy after FLM - a month on! Managed to knock a minute off the PB.
