Ran this last year and was a hard race.Running well at mo so hoping for a sub 30 minute if I can get away at start and not caught in traffic.
5:40 5:42 5:45 6:21 5:30
Tired in mile 4, going up that hill and up and around the estate. 11 seconds quicker than last year and most front runners' times were about 30 seconds down on last year, must have been due to the conditions. A PB and overall quite pleased.
5.56 5.55 5.58 6.31 5.37. This had to be the closest I have yet come to running the "perfect race". Got rather held-up in the first mile but stuck with Emma and George from our club, and their consistent pacing made the world of difference. My first ever result at a pace quicker than 6min/mi! I could not be happier!
1st race with Anth, he ran in the 2.5mile great to be running together.., still not in shape to go for a PB, enjoyed the course
Cr@p !!!! Hamstring problems again....linked to my pelvis being misaligned and sciatica - apparently!!
Cant wait for the 2 laps and hill on each lap....... mmmmmmm but somehow is still a reasonably fast course... this of course if I can run and recovered from my Operation... very fast very happy 2nd fastest time for me
This was my first ever race in 2007 and I was 7mins quicker than last year - 3 of the miles run in under 8mins, broke my sub 40 goal which I was hoping to do on a flat course this season so got to be happy with that!
Not done this before, very pleased with it quite hilly and I felt quite within myself.
Disasterous problems with breathing/asthma - very frustrating. Tough two lapper, it'll be good test to see if pace is coming back before Abo in October, minimal tappering for this one.
