37th in this tough road race and only just after winning the 5 miler yesterday, this felt a lot easier than last year.
Last Long run before Robin Hood - a training run then in many respects.
Going for a 1:05:00, just wary of the hill for the first 5k.....didn't quite dip under 1:05 but happy none the less despite the first 5 miles of hills. The last mile or so to the finish took it out of me but still managed a sprint to the finish!
Superb for a big bloke like me, tactically ran it great, felt like i was being left behind but didn't panic, just chipped away and made it a strong finish.
That was hilly and tough... pb though..missed 70mins by 1 sec - my watch had 1.09.59 but I think the results will have me down dead on 70mins.
Great race, very supportive marshalls so very pleased overall
Not a PB, but still really pleased with time given the climbs over the first half of the race. Enjoyed it over all and would definately consider doing it again. Nice t-shirt too.
Good tough 10 miler, very friendly crowd and well worth doing again.
