A personal best and according to Nike + it was 6.32 miles rather than 6.2. Felt really good from 6 to 8k but the 9th was tough into the wind. Don't normally check splits but I checked my I pod every kilometre and found I was running 5.15 until around 5k when I got slightly faster.

Not a pb but cycled there so already had 36k in the legs. So not a bad time all in all. Then cycled home 40k into a headwind - that was grim.
Not flat, but will be going flat out. Previous 10K times are based on runs just after coming back from holiday - so this should be a PB. Question is - can I sneak a sub 50?
Overall, went very well and very pleased with my time. If I want to be picky, then there were one or two of the early kms where I was probably a touch too fast - struggled from 6-8 when that would have been a good time to push. But overall, really can't complain.
(Time from my watch rather than official time)
Very hard course, marshals were great though.
Had no watch so relied on Daz to pace me. Needless to say he dragged me around way faster than I intended. Nice swim afterwards
Really wanted to get 60 mins in this race but I left my asthma puffer in the car! Couldn't relax and get my breathing right. Next time take more than one puffer!!
Was not "racing" myself, but pacing my training partner for a new PB for her. Smashed her PB by almost 4m30s, so well pleased all round. I did shout at her a bit!
