Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Notes & Comments

2012 GER

Wow, it went sooo well :-)
Fantastic support from Werrington runners all the way round, it helps so much:-)
Can't believe the pace I managed to keep up, considering I was aiming for 8:20 pace and I was unwell on Thursday.
Ended up following a Stamford runner who was setting a nice 7:45ish pace. At 6 miles started to think I was going to pay for my quick started but at 9 miles felt great so upped the pace. But at 10 miles started to feel tired and low on energy. Last 3 miles were strange as I only could mange to put one foot in front of the other, but still managed to keep the pace up.

Chip time 1:43:30, 852 out of 3431
745th out of Men
257th out of M40-49
Passes 105 runners on the second half and 17 passed me.
first half 12.0kph second half 12.5kph.
