bedlam_g Skye Half Marathon - Nothing in the tank today. For every excuse 5am start, very hot, hilly and a tough run at Benbecula the week before there has been another race where I've ran well almost thrived in similar circumstances. A little bit concerned but for now it goes down as a rare bad day. A lack of quick guys meant I still finished 3rd and we won the team prize thanks to solid runs fro Nea and Robbie. Ferdi Great sunny warm weather with nice breeze. Started out slowly, lot of steepish uphill and then gradually picked up the pace. Quite undulating overall but not too bad. Excellent organisation and after race lunch followed by complimentary swim and sauna. Very enjoyable! Unaffiliated 1:48:13 1:48:13 2:00:00 1:57:50 56.62
