Jonny Another poor run, but expected. Need to do some serious endurance training. The speed seems to be there but cannot sustain it for more than 5 miles. Unaffiliated 1:27:05 1:27:05 1:38:28 58.88
Kieren A very challenging course in my opinion. Although nearly everyone I spoke to at the finish PB'd suggesting a fast course I find this really difficult as it has lots of little hills so you can't focus on a sumit for the climb or indeed make up much ground on the decent. Trialing a Polar HRM & tended to try & stay in what I thought was a good zone rather than listen to my body. In hindsight this was a mistake. A new PB but given all the extra training I've been doing lately I was expecting to crack the 90 minute mark.
