My girls are both well into their 30s, so you're all still very young. Little 4 mile leg loosener this morning to check my legs are still working. All apparently OK. |

Wow, impressive jet-setting there, Toks! Have a great time. 6 miles run this morning. Legs still very heavy but mostly OK. Must have been all the toe-tapping along to Rammstein's hits last Saturday, it's worn out my little leggies. Lunching out with chums today - one of the few advantages of being retired! |

16.5 miles done. Should have been 17 but I was struggling in the heat! Hope Aug 11th is a bit cooler

I think you were pretty close there, westmoors, well done! 8 miles this morning, perfect for running here, not too hot at all. More gardening planned for this afternoon to escape all the sporty stuff on the tellybox. Garden is currently looking not too bad (for me anyway - I'm shortsighted, so can't really see the weedy brambly bit at the end very clearly, it just looks green. We have been cheekily scrumping cherries off the tree in the garden over the back fence, where a couple of branches hang over our garden. |
