Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

People on t'internet going on about how pleased they are that a matador got gored to death. And the knowledge that if it had been a foxhunter who had been eaten by his own hounds I'd be crowing along with them.

I think it's a shame that Andy Murray gets dissed in the way he does.
He's not Mr Charisma, he's a sportsman, and a very good sportsman and a good sport. There are plenty of Prima Donas in many fields of sport who cheat and behave in public like absolute idiots.
Murray is a pretty good roll model for young sports people. It's a shame that there are not more like him. I'm not a huge tennis fan, but most (not all) tennis players seem to have a better grip of life than many other pro's.

I agree ER. What Andy is achieving should be celebrated. I have actually enjoyed watching Wimbledon far more than the Euros.............. tennis players are a lot more sporting than their footballing counterparts. Gracious in defeat and respectful to fans.
