My FB news feed is clogged with tales of animal cruelty, abuse, people having things/horses/dogs stolen, illegal trade in other humans and animals. I accidentally clicked on a link about slow lorris and those 'cute' tickling videos, thinking it was a spoof... wrong. The poor things are caught in the forest, if they survive the journey to wherever it is they're going, they have their teeth clipped out with pliers, then are stuck in cages the rest of their lives. They're nocturnal animals so being kept with indoor lighting hurts them. Their response to being tickled is out of fear, they're trying to expose toxins from glands in their arms. Poor little things. And at the same time the ''Trending'' bit tells stories of how some random celeb is on holiday with their kid. Who gives an actual shit? It's all fucked up man.
