Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

[I genuinely don't recognise people out of context. I've walked past members of my own family without batting an eyelid. Not ignorant or rude - just often preoccupied and focussed]

[I accidentally blanked the dentist who'd been doing my teeth for years, once. He was coming out of the hospital where I work, and the wrong context and me not being very good with faces anyway was too much for me. ]

[Not recognising peple out of context once led me to loudly declare "oh I didn't recognise you with your clothes on" at a crowded hotel breakfast buffet to an immaculately suited businessman, as I'd never seen him out of Lycra before. :-0 ]

How would it be perceived if I were to get a big permanent marker out & write "BABY ON BOARD" on the back of my fluoro rucksack cover that I use for cycling? I'd quite like people to respect my space as a cyclist & I am actually pregnant...

It would raise a smile from me if I understood it correctly. Otherwise I'd worry the baby was stuffed in the rucksack.

It would be more proper to write "BABIES ON BOARD" surely?
