I've been to Aldi and Lidl today - both unusual visits for me. I am disappointed most of the time too but occasionally find something nice.

Unfortunately I don't have the luxury of being able to drive elsewhere - but that said the idiot customers there seem much the same as idiot customers in the city centre shops... Mind you, I'm a bit of a misanthrope anyway...

Is it just me or have the 'seasoned traveller' brigade started calling the USA just USA and the UK just UK. As in, 'We get back to UK on xxx date'. That's annoying.
