Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I don’t like the way he talks to folk, comes across as quite ignorant & arrogant.

I can choose to listen to Radio 4 for more info, or watch the BBC News 24, but don't force it on me everywhere else. Particular case in point a few weeks ago - BBC Radio6 news update with 'breaking news', "The Bank of England has kept interest rates the same.." ie. no news then - you're just coming up with anything to fill them time. Desist..!

Yes Mushroom! I was ranting and raving about this the other day.

I’d rather hear breaking wind, than breaking news.

Guess which radio DJ, production assistant, interviewee just farted, would be much more interesting. Perhaps listeners could “phone” in with suitable contributions.

Just witnessed a crash at the roundabout where someone came up my inside as I tried to exit it the other day. Amazing how hard some folk find to use a roundabout properly.

The Sky Sports coverage of the Leeds Utd vs Bristol City match last night.

Long and multiple replays of goals scored and celebrations at the expense of the live feed. Focussing in on two substituted Leeds players and speculating what they were talking about, again at the expense of live action.

Full disclosure: I’m a BristolCity fan but fully commend Leeds for outclassing my team who played poorly, so my gripe has noubt to do with being a sore loser.

Ally-C, have you been to Elgin recently? Most people use the roundabouts like they’re not there, IE pile on to them even when they haven’t got right of way and if it’s rush hour, just sit there.
