Parents picking their children up on the school run. Do they remove any common sense they have at that time of day.
Bears can open garden gates but they seem to struggle with Camelbak zips so they just rip them open

I do have a great deal of sympathy for the pharmacist, Caterpillar. Especially now that I've seen the difference in cost between the 10mg and 20mg tablets.
Doesn't stop the task of writing all the prescriptions being gear-grindingly boring, though.

V - I think they are net contributors aren't they? Yes they add to your workload, sorry, but they more than pay their way.

You must have a computer to write prescriptions for you, don't you? Anyway - I've found a spare pack of 20mg tablets for you. Who shall I send it to?

I have a keyboard and a mouse with which to write prescriptions instead of a pen and a green pad. The effect is that the pharmacist can read the prescription. The other effect is that the system can be set up in such a way that I can't get anyone else to do the job for me
I long for a return to the days of handing the receptionist a pad of pre-signed blank prescriptions
If the 20mg tablets are fluoxetine or citalopram, don't stop taking them. If they're a statin, give them to the next smoker you meet. If they're temazepam, I'll have them. And if they're isosorbide mononitrite, you might as well give them back to the pharmacist because I've done all the 10mg scripts now

None of the above. In fact we only make one thing in 20mg tablets, and we don't make it in 10mg's.
Isosorbide mononitrate? Srsly? Out of stock? Bloody hell they must be cheap as chips. And made by a dozen different manufacturers.

SHOULD be as cheap as chips, but there's a lot of jiggery-pokery goes on and 20mg twice daily for 4 weeks allegedly costs £21.something more if you give it as 10mg tablets rather than 20mg tablets, although that's only what ScriptSwitch says and these things change from day to day.

You can blame the fact that we are not in the Euro for the price jiggery pokery. But now your pharmacist loves you because he's going to get paid for dispensing 10mg tablets so he will make more profit.

The motorway game is where you cruise along in the middle lane, waiting for someone to approach behind you. *Just* as they indicate right to pull out and overtake, you indicate left and pull in. OR indicate right and pull out. Depending on the state of the traffic in the other lanes. Very tactical game.
