Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

While we're on it, packs of rice where the glue is tougher than the cellophane/plastic wrapping. So matter how you try to open it, the pack is ripped and the resealable sticky tape is not much use.

(if there is a trick/knack to opening bags of rice, please let me know)

Right, so your website makes me select a named branch to be able to redeem the cat food voucher but that isn't much use when that store obviously closed some time ago. Grr....

Carrying on from the rice (and similar) packaging, "resealable" packs where the sticker isn't sticky enough to stick to the packaging.

I just use the clippy plastic things for pasta packs, far easier! Rice and other grains go into glass jars. I sellotape the cooking instructions on so I know what's in them :-)

Good shout, Little Nemo! From the outside of the storage jar, self raising flour, plain flour, cornflour, and icing sugar all look worryingly similar!

Google Translate auto-correcting the Portuguese or Spanish words into English. What is the fucking point of that? Changing cambio* into champion does not help one jot.

* autocorrect decided I meant campion.
