A few months' back, I ordered a curry and got the wrong one. The correct one arrived ten minutes later. Got to keep both at no extra cost!

People who talk about *The* World Cup without specifying sport or gender. Someone from the Welsh gov office made a reference to 'Wales being in the world cup for the first time' the other week, and I was so confused. We've been in every world cup, men's and women's. We hosted the first women's one. Then I realised she was talking about men's soccer. |

Teachers giving kids a "treat" irrespective of whether they like football or not (and you can guarantee that the Teacher does): Sian's not going, despite great achievements. We'll reward her separately. |

when my eldest was in primary school, his end of year treat from the school - in a week when they'd learnt about mountains - was to watch The Sound of Music

We'll reward her separately. Idea (from a teacher 40 years at the chalkface): balance this 'treat' up with an action plan for addressing the areas for improvement for pupils not 'making the grade'. |

We said something similar, swittle - whilst it's nice to have our daughter included in the 'doing well' group, she's often been excluded and it's harder to motivate from that position. |

Email from British Gas: We’re sorry, when we moved you to our new system, we didn’t set up your Direct Debit. This means we didn’t collect 1 payment. Ways to pay If you’d like to make a catch-up payment now or at a later date, you can do so by logging into your online account. I logged on to my account but it won’t let me make a payment because a payment is due to be taken 🤦♂️ |
