Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

When you are doing the washing up and you think youve nearly finished and someone keeps adding stuff. Boils my wee wee.

+1, Jock. And people who put the stuff in the sink whilst I'm still washing up. If I'm doing it, I'll do it my way.

That bloody annoying Crown paint advert. Arguments about sexism aside, it has to be one of the most irritating TV adverts in a very long time.

The house selling process in England [stronger emotions than just 'grinding' my gears]

Either throw-away weeks of time and money already sunk into the process, lose the intended purchase and the associated impact it'll have on my partners house sale that's running alongside it - or take a massive financial hit that is unpalatable.

Not happy. At all.

The overuse of "BREAKING NEWS!"

Shouldn't this be reserved for something sudden, unexpected and worthy of you stopping to pay attention?

Not "Breaking news! A-level students have started openg their results"

+1 to that from my housemate, who questioned the announcement of Paxman leaving University Challenge being marked as "breaking news".
