Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

[H, I assume that this campsite has had to be licensed? If that is that case there would have been conditions put on them by the local authority. Would it be worth your while contacting your LA to report excessive noise? Maybe make a recording of the noise too. It’s a civil thing rather than a crime, so the police wouldn’t be that interested]

[Hann - an example here of this year's 'rules'. I guess there must be similar or as per ER above, a council officer to report it to. (If approaching your neighbour & reminding them it's their responsibility to prevent local disuruption due to noise isn't an option) . How long have they been open? Is it more than 56 days, if so, is it formally registered?

Thanks guys!
He opened last year under the relaxed CoVid rules and we could not do anything about it.
I did alert the environment officer at the council that all their poo and pee went into the river, which is the water source for farms downstream AND floods onto our gardens AND is part of a re-generation project...
Now they have two portaloos... For hundreds of people so obviously a token...
Just half the guests talking to the other half would be an issue I reckon, especially as there is no other noise to drown them out.
Going to look at those links and call my friendly parish councillor... But last year our hands were tied and this year too I reckon... Apparently, he earnt 50k last year, in the 60 days or whatever it was he was allowed to be open...

Customer Surveys.
Buy a cup of coffee - fill in a Customer survey
Get some petrol - fill in a Customer survey

Attend a course - fill in a Customer survey...

If you're the lucky 1 in 25000 you might win a ball point pen as an incentive....

I just refuse to do any of them now.

Yep, phone a company and either stay on the line or receive a follow-up automated phone call. No thanks.

Shops that declare on their website that they are open but when you get there they've put a note on the door with *revised August opening hours* and are actually closed.

The ONS have written to us twice now wanting to do some sort of phone survey. I REALLY hate using the phone so I’d take part if there was a web chat option, but there isn’t so no, I’m not going to take part thanks.

My husband doesn’t want to do it either, but in his case it’s mostly apathy.

People who think it’s “nice” (nice for who I’m not sure) to let their cat have just the one litter of kittens before getting her spayed.

And end up asking everyone they know if they want a kitten.

We used to live below a guy who had a couple of cats. He lost his job and the cats had kittens, who had kittens, who had kittens - just so he could get a few quid. The RSPCA were called by another neighbour who did nothing as they could not identify cruelty or neglect.
