I like to think that someone will thank me someday for saying, "That gives you a BMI of 26.5, which means you do with LOSING a few more pounds, even if your granny is twining on about how skinny you are."

Gym users who can bench press the equivalent of a double decker bus, but are too weak to turn off the shower properly.

I wasn't very impressed when Sam's paediatric consultant sneezed and blew his nose all the way through his appointment on Friday.
Why do doctors come into work with infections (and are fairly likely to be erm seeing already sick people all day) when they'd be telling anyone else to stay at home?

Doctors are rascals for never taking time off sick. I was at my desk when I had mumps, and the day after having a hernia repair, and I know someone who calmly went on doing an ENT clinic after her waters broke and she started having contractions. We're brought up with a strong sense of obligation not to dump work on our colleagues. Unfortunately.

Right now it's the Flab Fighters 2013 thread royally fucking up the forum page with that title. Surely I'm not the only one experiencing this?!

Why do the adverts before the film at a cinema have to be so ridiculously loud? We're in doors for goodness sake! We're not at Glastonbury!

Gym users, using a treadmill that I could otherwise use for a nice structured hill session with a 5 minute 5%-7% interval pyramid set, in order to...walk....at 0% gradient...while reading or texting.

I don't even know why this annoys me but WHY does American t.v feel the need to take every decent European t.v show and make an american remake? Do they really think they need to do it again better? (They nearly always fail and make a very bad version instead0, simply for money? Can Americans really not watch European programmes even if they have subtitles?
