The G-oone-rinch
Cyclists. Dogs. People.
(Only one of these is true and I cycle regularly and also own a dog)

In fairness, the dog walkers on the local sustrans cycle route are particularly dense at times! Whether I'm running or cycling, a depressingly high number of them don't actually like to share, move over or control their dogs.
I think it's the speed differential they don't appreciate, and as a result they react slowly/late, and often, inappropriately.
And cyclists who don't have/use a warning bell really don't help.

Fragile Do Not Bend
With you on the cyclists without bells. I’m sure some men think a bell is emasculating somehow.

Oh, is that who that is? Having never watched the show, I didn’t know who the voice on the advert was (but do find her voice sets my teeth on edge)

[My housemate comments that it's an odd choice of voice for a bed company - that grating screech is hardly conducive to a good night's kip!]
People submitting work in a rush prior to their Xmas/New Year leave - my entire festive period has been spent making notes for some cases, and outright rejecting others, simply because people have shoved in a barely half-arsed effort - leaving their poor colleagues to pick up the pieces. My normally blunt emails have been straying close to outright arsiness lately!

[if it was the Westhill "cycle lane" it's because it was sheet ice from Westhill to Kingswells and not cyclable]

[Nope - road I was on was in full sun midday and totally dry and this is a frequent occurrence throughout the year]

DQ, many of the roadside cycle routes around here are poorly designed from the viewpoint of the cyclist. Little things like losing right of way at junctions, poor sight lines, lamp and signposts, dropped kerbs that aren't dropped, potholes.and worst of all, gravel /grit thrown up by cars making skid patches!
As a result, many would rather play dice with cars and lorries.
