Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

To help with IT security, the company I work for has blocked access to Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo etc so that nothing malicious can be downloaded. Fair enough I say, but why stop us from accessing sports sites? BBC news "yes", BBC sport "no". My football club website and Fans forum "no", Ebay "yes". FETCHEVERYONE "no", Amazon "yes". I think that there's a hidden agenda here!

Raptors claws are coming to town
I am randomly barred from some sites. Shopping sites run so slowly that it's not worth the bother. Facebook, Twitter and the like are banned. I can open Hotmail and see my inbox but not use it. Ravelry is hit and miss. Fetch is no problem. It doesn't like The Independent or The Telegraph, is iffy about The Guardian, and doesn't bat an eyelid at The Daily Mail.

I think that says quite a lot about your work, Raptor.

Grinding my gears at the moment is Facebook. Not Facebook itself, actually, but all the people who are crowing about finishing work for the year when I still have two days to go. I don't usually work weekends, so this will be a struggle.

That someone can SERIOUSLY suggest that the way to prevent young children getting massacred is to put a redneck with a gun in every school. No the way to do it is to ask very very searching questions of anyone who wants to buy a gun. We dont even do it thoroughly enough in this country..

I think questions also need to asked about not only the access to guns, but why do, admittedly very few, men get the idea, or at least get themsleves in such a mental state they want to slaughter human beings.

My own view of it is that violence in general is VERY prevelant in films, games, TV and generally all around us in i sincreasing portayed as "entertainment"

Inconsiderate people who think its okay to park in front of our driveway and block in my car. Then they have the cheek to ask "do you want it moved" when I find the owner.
